I am an environmental and development economist and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center on Food Security and the Environment at Stanford University.

I am on the 2026–2027 academic job market.

My Job Market Paper, Climate Migration and Urban Integration in Africa, studies how drought-induced migration contributes to the growth of low-quality housing in African cities, showing that climate migrants integrate economically but not residentially.

My research examines how climate change and environmental degradation shape migration, urbanization, health, agricultural production, and food security in Sub-Saharan Africa, including through water pollution from industrial mining (MiningLeaks).

I am also a Research Affiliate at Stanford’s King Center on Global Development and the Paris School of Economics’ International Migration Economics Chair. I received my PhD from the Paris School of Economics and CIRED in 2023.
